AppleCare bereidt zich voor op iOS 5 lancering op 10 oktober
Het is om gek van te worden, gisteren hadden we nog twee artikelen voor je die verwezen naar een lancering van iOS 5 op 23 september. Nu zou de website AppleInsider van een anonieme bron hebben vernomen dat AppleCare, de klantenservice van Apple, op 10 oktober roodgloeiende telefoons zal verwachten. Dit zou dus maar één ding kunnen betekenen, iOS 5 en iCloud zullen op 10 oktober lanceren. Voorlopig blijft het dus nog flink gissen, aangezien bijna alle geruchten een andere datum noemen.
For instance, one person familiar with the matter said his local AppleCare call center has been told to expect an eightfold increase in customer calls on that day, and that staff are being advised ahead of time for the increased traffic.
The person could not say with any certainty what will be released on that Monday, but noted that the increase in call volume is related to iOS. This led them to speculate that Apple could release iOS 5 and iCloud on Oct. 10.
